The local guide
San Diego live printing.
Take the experience home.
Custom apparel and personalization for convention guests, hospitality events and brand gatherings in San Diego.

Plan the convention and the off-site separately
A convention booth and a hotel reception may belong to the same campaign, but they do not share the same production plan. Each location needs confirmed access, power, storage and a guest flow. If the concept moves between venues, include the move and reset time in the brief.
Merch Troop serves San Diego from Fullerton and has published a live DTF printing recap from the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. That project is a relevant local example for a hospitality activation; its setup should not be assumed to fit a different venue unchanged.
Design the menu for a traveling audience
A shirt or tote can carry the event story beyond the room while remaining practical for a return trip. Product selection affects the station: shirts need a size plan, while other items may simplify the choice. Share the audience and distribution goal before fixing the entire assortment.
Live DTF is useful for approved full-color designs. Screen printing emphasizes the visible production process. Embroidery and patch bars offer different kinds of personalization and may need a collection workflow suited to the chosen method.
Use the venue’s planning resources
The San Diego Convention Center publishes planning resources, including venue information that can support an event brief. Coordinate your specific show’s exhibitor rules, technical services and load-in requirements with the organizer. Merch Troop’s service coverage does not imply a venue partnership.
For a hotel or private gathering, identify when guests arrive and whether demand will concentrate after a presentation or reception opening. Total attendance alone does not describe how busy the station will be at any one moment.
Send a complete San Diego schedule
Include the event date, venue, live operating hours, expected guest count and desired quantity. Add access and teardown windows, indoor or outdoor conditions, and any restrictions on equipment. A floor plan helps separate selection, production and collection.
If you need shirts already finished when attendees check in, ask about custom merch instead of a live station. We can discuss the right path without forcing an activation into a project that only needs ready-to-distribute products.
Good questions.
Have you produced merch at a San Diego event?
Yes. Our published work includes a live DTF activation at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.
Can you cover a convention and hotel event?
Send both locations and schedules. Any movement, separate setups and operating hours need to be included in the scope.
